Footage of a Texas helicopter crashing into a power tower was revealed, killing all 4 people on board and the scene was in flames

On the evening of October 20, a private helicopter tragically crashed into a radio tower in Houston, Texas, resulting in a devastating fire. All four individuals on board, including one child, lost their lives. Eyewitness footage shared on the social media platform X captured the moment the helicopter collided with the tower, igniting a massive fireball and causing the structure to break apart, engulfing the scene in flames.

Security cameras from MYSTUDIO HTX recorded the incident happening in the Second Ward of Houston at 7:51 PM. Jay Marroquin, who shared the footage, urged the community to follow the updates on this tragic event.

According to reports from The Daily Mail, Houston Mayor John Whitmire confirmed that the helicopter, which had taken off from Ellington Airport, crashed near the intersection of Englewood Street and North Ennis. Mayor Whitmire stated that all four people on board were confirmed deceased, including a child.

Sheriff Noe Diaz indicated that the investigation suggests the crash was an accident, and he has requested assistance from nearby residents to help search for the wreckage and any remains the following morning. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries to individuals on the ground.

Diaz also noted that there was a butane storage tank in proximity to the crash site, but it was not impacted, preventing a larger disaster.

Footage circulating on social media shows the helicopter striking the tower amidst the darkness of night, instantly resulting in a blinding flash and a fiery explosion, as the tower collapsed and the area became engulfed in flames.
