Nigeria’s technology-driven credit rating agency, DataPro, is gearing up for its highly anticipated 2024 International Rating Webinar, scheduled to take place digitally on Thursday, October 10, 2024.
In a recent statement, Kehinde Rasheed, the company’s Client Service Manager, announced that this year’s theme will focus on “Navigating Economic Uncertainties: The Role of Credit Rating Agencies.”
The keynote speaker for the event will be Christian Ruehmer, who will deliver his presentation live on LinkedIn and YouTube. As the CEO and Co-founder of Q-Lana, a fully digitalized open-banking institution operating across Africa and other emerging markets, Christian brings a wealth of knowledge in credit risk management. His global reputation as an expert in Risk Management, Investment, and Treasury makes his insights particularly valuable for attendees.
Additionally, the webinar will host a distinguished panel featuring prominent experts such as Sam Omukoko, Group Managing Director of Metropol Ratings in Kenya; Dr. Sonnie Ayere, Group Managing Director of DLM Group; and the Managing Director of Chapel Hill Denham. The session will be moderated by Oladele Adeoye, Chief Rating Officer of DataPro.
